The food palliatives were provided by the federal government through the government of Rivers State, as part of the government’s effort to alleviate the economic challenges faced by Nigerians, as a result of the federal government’s fuel subsidy removal policy.
Chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd, DSSRS has directed the finance department of the local government to incur the cost of the transportation of the food palliatives to the fourteen wards of the area.
